You should just dodge this whole Canon Versus Nikon thing entirely, and
buy yourself an H2D.  :)

I've certainly coveted that 85mm 5/1.2, but never had a reason to buy it
because of my 1.6 cropping factor.

I think that a full frame digital camera, at least with todays
technology, will never be as good as film.  The sensors don't deal well
with the angles involved, at least compared to film.  I expect the
technology to someday adapt, but in the meantime, I won't be expecting
good edges on a full frame.
