I used to shoot jpeg except when I was really nervous. Post processing was tedious. My best tool was UFRAW (ufraw.sourceforge.net). Then I discovered Raw Shooter Essentials, (and got a more powerful PC) and now I almost always shoot RAW. It adds little time to my workflow.
