Hi,
I bought a Canon 28-135 USM about 7 years ago and I have a lot of
trouble with it. I returned the lens 6 times for the same reason:
- The lens lost the communication with the body.
- The stabiliser is shaking, making my images blurred.
- Sometimes, the lens stop to work completely.
Each time the lens is ok when it is coming back from Canon, but after
6 to 12 month of use, the same problem emerge. And, the lens was used
on Elan II for 6 years, and now it is used on Digital Rebel XT. I am
using a lot of Canon lens and I have this problem only with 28-135.
Now, the problem seem to reappear and I dont know what to do.
- Is this problem can be caused by dust inside the lens? (because
this lens seem to "pump" dust inside)
- Is someone have the same problem with this lens?
- There is a long term fix for this problem?
