Not to patronize, but I have personally seen drivers
drive a heck lot precise and better with an actual
sloppy steering than I could with a very precise
steering. IMHO, Good anticipation, skill and deep
understanding of the apparatus involved are much
preferable than having the best apparatus and not
knowing how to use it effectively.

Pardon me for saying this, but reminds me of a popular
adage often used with computers when someone says
"it's just not working" : perhaps, just perhaps, the
problem is between the keyboard and the chair ....
