Interestingly I was at a Pro soccer game here in Japan the other day for the first time and I took a few shots from the bleachers with my 100-400. I got some nice shots, and took a few of the photogs on the sidelines for kicks. All white lenses there! What was interesting was that all the camera bodies they were using had a flash shoe on top, so I would guess likely they were all using 30Ds or 20Ds, maybe 10Ds. I saw several of what looked like EF500s or EF600s, and was suprised, since from the bleachers I had to take off my 1.4x and shoot mostly at 400mm on my 10D. I don't know if they were shooting just faces, but I didn't see them pickup anything smaller. One lady had another body with a 70-200 on it, but she never used it that I saw. -- Jim Davis, Owner, Eastern Beaver Company: http://easternbeaver.com/ Motorcycle Relay Kits, Modulator Kits, Powerlet, Centech, Posi-Lock, Parts. 1988 K100RS SE ABS in Japan. 1991 ST1100 in America.
