Well not everybody is a world class wedding photog. Imagine how many weddings a
regular photographer would have to shoot to pay for a EF200/1.8!

There's lots of alternatives to get to 200mm, and many are pretty cheap. I
wouldn't pay too much attention to what Dennis is using, most are in it to try
and make a few bucks, not collect cool lenses.

I know that it's one hell of a sexy lens. I've seen them on the auctions used
going for very high prices. I think it's pretty damned heavy too, so the
assistant would have to carry it to and from the vehicle when needed. You
wouldn't want it to get bumped, lost, or stolen.
