Imagine how many weddings a regular photographer would have to shoot to pay for a EF200/1.8! There's lots of alternatives to get to 200mm, and many are pretty cheap. I wouldn't pay too much attention to what Dennis is using, most are in it to try and make a few bucks, not collect cool lenses. I know that it's one hell of a sexy lens. I've seen them on the auctions used going for very high prices. I think it's pretty damned heavy too, so the assistant would have to carry it to and from the vehicle when needed.
