Well, I more than vaguely recall that Canon once already reveiled a 
MF-Canon prototype, although very shyly, I believe by the hands of 
designer Luigi Colani....more a design-study than anything with tech-
spec's.
(which also pinpoints it at the T90-era, since he didn't even design 
the EOS-1 after that)
