Well, I more than vaguely recall that Canon once already reveiled a MF-Canon prototype, although very shyly, I believe by the hands of designer Luigi Colani....more a design-study than anything with tech- spec's. (which also pinpoints it at the T90-era, since he didn't even design the EOS-1 after that) Of which of course I *had* a link.... http://www.lmrl.lu/cr/colani/page2.htm ....which of course vanished into oblivion after 2000.... http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.lmrl.lu/cr/colani/page2.htm Anyone familiar with the current whereabouts of Christian Rolllingers site? (.lu means Luxembourg) Some more current rumours, and a claimed picture of that old MF-Canon from Colani (but given the FD-lens, that can't be correct): http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/canon_medium_format_2ff.html Hmm....yet the same picture is listed at Christian Rollinger's current site: http://www.canonfd.com/colani.htm Willem (let history repeat itself....;)) Jan -- Bye, Willem-Jan Markerink The desire to understand is sometimes far less intelligent than the inability to understand <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!] * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
