Answering my own question here, I did some searching around at Amazon and other places, including B-H and found plenty of places selling the ST E2, so obviously it IS still made and sold. At B-H it is located in the flash accessories section instead of the camera area.

I had someone tell me that Canon no longer sells the ST E2 transmitter. There is a photo of it on Canon's website, but no price or way to order. Also, I cannot find it on the B-H site. *I* already have one, so do not need it, however a friend of mine wants one to remotely fire his Canon flashes like I am able to do. Does anyone know if the transmitter is still available, and if not, what if anything has taken its place?
