My travel setup is slightly different, but similar. I use a LowePro ProRoller 1 rolling bag for normal travel, but the entire divided insert comes out of it and fits exactly into a Pelican 1550, for those times when when I need/want the extra protection. The 1550 is borderline acceptable for carry on I think, but I've never actually used it on a flight, opting instead for the normal exterior when flying and saving the Pelican for road trips. I got my pelican in a similar deal, used with only the lid foam, for about $40. The replacement foam instert is pretty pricey, but in my case (no pun intended) wasn't needed. tomp * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
