But the difference between zero and whatever value it happens to be is vanishingly small, something like the value of pi and 22/7. The new explanation of gravity suggests it's a push from a field. Gravity is not the same everywhere on earth, magnetism is not the same everywhere on earth. So how come the same formula works for all?
