Wonderful,
It has been called Large headed Crackpots too. Currently there's standard
physics, quantum
physics and alternative physics plus widespread debates about their merits in
various flavours.
Hawking has a bet they won't find the Higg's boson. The LHC is quite
interesting in that
standard physics pickles everything in terms of particles by the hundred.
Alternative physics,
one brand, has it that reality is electro-magnetic and that's what Cern and all
colliders are
using. I would not be surprised if the LHC has more breakdowns or faults in its
design, that
usually happens with many people building something. Personally I don't much
care what they
find or do not find. It won't solve the riddle of the universe that way.
Earth itself is a magnet with a North and Sth pole and the entire universe is
directionally
oriented. All the giant magnets do is act much like a Faraday cage to isolate
events from earth
conditions.
