Stefan, I have to do some experiments. But my results seem to be
consistent with my shaders not
functioning at all.

I found assembleDB_GLSL. YOu access the shader through an ObjectManager.
I do not (you said it was
not necessary).

Could you provide me with a working example (however simple) of a
working shader that
does not get invoked through the object manager, but rather, through
straightforward OpenGL?
