I have a related question.

We have a cylindrical screen, and for Bino we currently switch the
projector calibration from 'VR' to a '2D presentation' mode which
assumes that the cylinder is actually a plane. Then, we define an
Equalizer configuration with a planar canvas on which Bino can render
the video.

However, the ability to switch to a '2D presentation' calibration
will soon be removed. To still get the same effect in the 'VR'
calibration, we need to render our 2D presentation onto a 3D geometry
that exactly matches the cylinder geometry. (For that purpose, eqvnc
supports the --screen=cylinder,... option.)

Now, the documentation of Bino's "-o equalizer-3d" option suggests that
it is also possible to achieve the same effect with a special Equalizer
configuration ("Other setups include distortion-correct projection for
curved screens").

Can you give an example? I found no hints on the website or in the
Programming Guide.

Regards,
Martin
