What??!! If I purchase a Flameduck taildragger or a Kukamonga tri-gear in
Michigan then move to Florida, I have to pay Florida taxes on it? Perhaps that
only applies to aircraft purchased in another state by someone with a Florida
home address. Do you Floridians have to pay tax on EVERYTHING you purchase from
out of state?

If the plane is coming to Florida, make sure you pay Florida sales tax on
it.
I bought mine in May 05. Didn't even think about the sales tax.
Received
a bill on Friday for the sales tax, penalty, and interest. Ruined my
day.
It is much cheaper to pay the tax immediately after the sale.
