Greg has a point about Eiseman mags. I had one go bad at Sun-N-Fun on
my Sunday morning departure runup. I had to wait to Monday to get it
looked at. The parts were FEDEXed from California, installed on Tuesday
and I was off by mid-day Tuesday, just two and a half days late.

It cost as much for the motel and meals as for the repair. Fortunately,
I didn't have any problems with work over the delay.

sure if you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I agree that they're perfectly good mags...I flew behind a set of
freshly rebuilt ones for a couple of years.

The only thing that worried me was if a mag went bad at an airport
other than home. With Slicks, any FBO may be able to help you out.
Not so with Eisemanns.
