Dan, John Cooper is correct. I had the identical
problem after changing fuel pumps(traded a friend for
it because mine had an 0-200 pump on it when I got it
and the position of the hoses was reversed from what
it should be. My problem turned out to be a bad
diaphragm in the fuel pump and the fuel was reverse
flowing from the header tanks back into the wing
tanks.
