Tech group,

I've removed the floor boards for the annual and noticed the master cylinder is leaking fluid at the top where the rod extends.  I've dried it off and an hour later fluid has collected there again.  I would assume there are seal rebuild kits available but how can this particular master cylinder part be identified in order to get the correct seals?

This sure looks like a potential messy job to remove it in the confines of the cockpit.  Can I assume the smart thing to do is drain the fluid first by disconnecting a line at the brake caliper?  I have made copies of previous conversations about bleeding the air from the system, so at this point, I don't have questions about that procedure, yet (famous last words!).

Thanks fellows for any help.
