Call Rick Belford at Union County Airport; 937-644-2055. He's a sport pilot
examiner at my FBO and ask him.

He's usually around on Sat. morning.

Subject: Re: [ercoupe-tech] endorsements and limitations

Can anyone tell me if they took their checkride in or around Ohio, that did
NOT get the limitation? I am preparing for my checkride, and I would like to
avoid the limitation if possible.

  Thanks,.

I also took my Sport Pilot checkride in a 2 control and have no
limitations. IMHO this is so because of the way the Sport Pilot
Certificate works, where you need logbook endoresements for the planes you
can fly, and that mechanism takes care of the limitations. That's just my
  opinion.
