An electrical system is one thing but a braking system is another.  What is 
definitely needed is a technical group that would have these records on file 
and would be able to answer these particular types of questions.  Believe it or 
not, Hawker/Beechcraft has tech support people right at the factory that do 
this.  Of course the ABS is pretty good about having the data on all airplanes 
too, and they have a staff of technical advisors always working.

  that is applicable to a SN does not mean it is required. The starter, 
  generator and battery are applicable but they were not required 
  standard equipment installed on all Ercoupes. I would also not say 
  that all that was installed is required to stay installed. One of the 
  records I looked at was for Woodys Ercoupe. It came from the factory 
  without starter, generator or battery but it did come with the 
  sunscreen. I don't think any FAA type would give a rats that the sun 
  screen is long gone.
