Concerning his M-10 with the low power and minimal climb, Alan responded:
> The prop is a McCauley 1A105. Alan, I'm not familiar with that prop but it is listed as an allowed prop by A-787. Here are the tolerances: 8. Fixed pitch metal, McCauley 1A105/SCM 7153 20 lbs. (-32) Eligible for Models M10, A-2 and A2-A with C90 engine Static r.p.m. at maximum permissible throttle setting: Not over 2375, not under 2250. No additional tolerance permitted. Diameter: not over 71 inches, not under 69.5 inches. Does anyone know the climb, normal and cruise pitch values for that prop on an M-10? (Alan - it's best to send replies to the forum so all 600 of us can help. I **certainly** don't know more than a small fraction of "The Answers.") Ed
