If I were to do a full top overhaul and the existing cylinders appeared to be 1946 vintage, I would order new ECI titans from www.JJairparts.com.

You may want to upgrade to no-blow exhaust gaskets. They include an already completed 337 for the valve rotator upgrade. The cylinder baffling is an origami...takes a bit to get it back right. I would plan on 3-5 days to remove and install new cylinders. Find a A&P to supervise your work.
