Jim. If you are adding power smoothly and things are AOK you should have a smooth acceleration and full RPM power for T/O. If you push the throttle in to abruptly there will me sort of a break in smoothness of power. Most run ups arei usually done smoothly because you're looking for1700 RPM Possibly push the throttle in MORE smoothly and see what happens. Prof.Ed
