1.      I am not a mechanic so I've been staying out of this discussion.  My
knowledge of vibration issues is minimal.
 
However, I've heard of one possible cause that was mentioned but you didn't
confirm that it had been checked:  that's prop tracking.  It's easy to
check.  You put some objects on the ground so the top item just touches one
prop when it's vertical.  Then you make absolutely sure the engine can't
start.  Only then, do you turn the prop to see if the other blade tracks
exactly the same.  I don't know what the standards are for allowed
imperfection on this.
 
Also, while you mentioned re-torquing the engine mounts, do you know that
the engine mounts are good?  Bad engine mounts are something I think I've
heard mentioned as the conduit that transmitted vibration to the airframe.
 
Watch for responses from the experts, especially before doing anything
drastic to the engine mounts.  I am NOT any kind of expert on this.  I'm
just throwing out ideas for the experts to confirm or debunk.
