Kevin, You may have to replace it, but first try lubricating the track in the vinyl welt. I use white lithium grease. You can buy it in any auto parts store. Get it in the tube, not the spray. The spray, even with the applicator straw, may blow back at you when spraying into the groove. I take the small tube, cut the tip at nearly the very end, then place a bb size drop 4 places along each track. Then I slide the windows up and down until they run smooth.
Your problem may be that the vinyl was installed backward. The slick side should make up the groove which receives the sliding window.
