You could always do what I used to. I rigged a connection to my Car antenna socket behind the dash which ended with an alligator clip. the clip got attached to the antenna on my FM transmitter. that efectively removed all RF interference by guranteeing I'd be the strongest signal. Still that has its own hazards for the equipment.
