I have an older conversion (approx 1995) with golf cart batteries in my
truck, 120V system and due to the weight and inefficient automatic
transmission, it pulls close to 200A at ~55 MPH
My easiest and fastest commute is 5-6 miles freeway plus a short
distance of 40 MPH streets on each end, so I do pull more power than I
really want but the batteries are still surviving after 2 years and 8k
mi. In fact, I have not noticed much degradation yet, I can still do an
occasional 25 mi trip which is close to max range if freeway is involved
- I can squeeze a few more miles out at lower speed streets, but too
many red lights and the range goes through the floor.

I have driven my truck (2-3 times in the last 4 years) for a 20 mile
round trip at 50-55mph, but I did 10 miles out, and it had at least
20-30 minutes of wait/recovery/cool-down time before the trip back.

My regular commutes are all in the 25-45mph speed range, city driving,
mostly on 35mph roads, typically 8 miles at a time, but sometimes
20-25 miles.
