Around here, there a quite a few metal recyclers who will come with a trailer or flatbed and take the car -- most of them take them to metal recycling, but some might take them to a junkyard if they can get more money for them there. Usually it's either free, or they might pay you $50 or so to take it away. If it's a one highly sought after by a junkyard they might come and get it, but I've always dealt with a middle man scrap metal guy.
