Perhaps you should invest/partner with Mate Rimac and simply have him,
or someone very much like him, build your dream car. He partnered with
Monster Tajima for his 2015 Pike's Peak electric car.

If you aren't already aware, Monster Tajima ran the top Pike's Peak
vehicle, and took top honors, for many years before he decided to go
electric. He switched to electric in 2012. (I was there at that event,
by the way. I know a few of the folks involved.) Even Monster decided it
was time to partner up with a known EV racing expert after trying very
hard to build a EV with his own highly skilled and experienced ICE
racing team. He finally teamed up with Rimac 2015, with great success.
If you jump into the design and construction of a high-performance EV
with no EV experience, then you will likely spend a _lot_ of money with
little to show for it. EV's seem very simple; a battery, a motor, and a
controller. However, they are unlike internal combustion cars in many
subtle ways, each of which will leave you with an empty bank account, a
uninspiring car, or perhaps just a pile of ashes.

Over the decades that I have been involved in EVs, when folks
aren't interested in starting with a small project (and a cheap
project) to learn the basics before taking on a full-size,
high-power, EV project, it often does not end well. Everyone that
is very successful in EVs started out with a small, inexpensive,
project. I can't think of any exception. There are likely a few,
but they are rare. It is an important step in the learning process
that has proved expensive to skip.
But, unlike you Bill, I don't want the learning experience, I want the
end goal. And I need it as quickly as possible. I am more than willing
to contract it out if it will get me to the end goal faster. I can
learn all about EVs later. I'll ask the people that built them for me
to teach me once the business gets going. And I'll be more than
willing to teach them how to design and build cars.
