Some of you know that I’ve been an advocate for BEVs for a number of decades,

Assuming hydrogen vehicles are off topic here as you indicate, perhaps you can point me to information that supports your apparent belief that there is a future for hydrogen?

I supposed "decarbonized hydrogen" is from electrically "cracked" water rather than from natural gas? Will any source you cite address the efficiency and distribution problems?

Hydrogen does seem like a very obvious dead end to me but I'm open to additional information. I do find it intriguing that Toyota, Nikola and others seem so willing to pour money down an apparent rat hole. Though I do understand that Toyota's primary motivation is delay of EV progress.
