Hello all:
I 'm sorry my posting was incomplete. I contacted HPEVS and they told that
under NO circumstances should
I use a contactor to interrupt the high voltage supply to the controller .
My reason to install the contacter was to
provide the Orion BMS2 a means of activating a battery discharge control
because I already run some cells
too low while trying to discharge for balancing the batteries and I don't
want to have the car towed home again.
After I installed the contactor and the problems occurred, I removed it
and the Curtis controller continues to
flash codes 66, 65,56,55, and code 46, which indicates an EEPROM failure .
HPEVS told me the Curtis . 1239e
will have to come back to them for diagnosis The odd thing is that the car
can actually be driven . Is it fixable?
