Liz, me too. I liked the Larry Niven Known Space Galaxy. A Galaxy inhabited 
with rational, space aliens. The people advocating a human die off, and I claim 
they are in a De Facto way, want energy starvation, and the population to drop, 
so nature is preserved. Understandable, and de facto, genocidal. Who would 
admit to that, publically? Privately, I think we are not at that far from the 
movie, Elysium.  Doing evil, law makers call it other things like national 
security, public safety, environmental protection, and the like. Ad Astra!
