You make some good points, but then you veer off to attack straw men. I
suggest you forget about trying to guess the psychology of "climate change
advocates" (i.e. 97% or more of climate scientists) - which you are very
bad at - and stick with the stuff you know about, which (I would say)
you're very good at.
