Our Universe is not infinite. It has a shell. The shell may be infinite, But I doubt it.

You need to read about integrating spheres. And you need to read Chapter XXII,“THE COLD PLASMA SHELL OF OUR UNIVERSE”. Could you explain in a few words why an IS would look like the CMBR? All I know about it so far is that it gives equal flux from all directions. And I'm presuming that it is a physical object - a real sphere of material, which does have a centre somewhere, and which forms the limits of the visible universe. What makes you think our Universe does not have a shell? Does it go on forever in all direction? Those aren't the only alternatives. However, the simplest answer is yes, it probably does.
