Hi John, The chicken or the egg problem is not hard to solve; just figure out how to get something that is a little bit like both and has an evolution path into one or the other... But your missing my point here. There is an already existing environment of physical stuff and interactions that is required for the expression of the information associated with a genome. That is what makes up a "world" for the genome and very little if any of it is encoded in that 750 Meg. Maybe I should have been a bit more clear in my earlier posts.
