No.  I don't "believe IN" anything.  I entertain hypotheses.

Nor do I, as a scientist. As a scientist I assume the number 0, the successor, addition, and multiplication law only. In the TOE, nothing more is assumed, except for predicate calculus.

In that theory I define a notion of rational belief, and show that ideally rational and sound machines have a theology isomorphic to Plotinus neo-platonism. It is testable as greek theology contains physics, and so we can compare that aspect of machine theology with what we can infer from observation.

What I wanted to say is that sometimes you talk like you take for granted weak materialism, if not physicalism.
