Neither of these is absurd. That would just be human preconceptions, based
around the domain we evolved in, in which mass-energy is conserved and
things change regularly.

However you do it, you're still left with the laws governing their
existence, and unanswered questions like "why should tronnies appear,rather
than quarks (or anything else) ?"
