Why? You yourself aren't such a "non-quantum consciousness" are
you? The question is rather whether your 'quantum-consciousness'
could indeed be derived from a 'classical' computational basis.
And, if so, whether the apparent predominance of this particular
species of 'physical observation' (as exemplified by your current
experience and the apparent history of your physical constitution)
over possible alternatives can be rationalised in terms of relative
measure or some other equally determinative argument.
You have moved a long way from the original point I was making --
which is almost the opposite of what you are talking about here. The
question was not whether quantum-consciousness could be derived from
a classical computational basis, but rather whether a derivation of
QM from consciousness could ever make sense. The argument being that
we could have consciousness in a non-quantum world,
For an infinitesimal instant.
Even in a non quantum world, you are under the global FPI, and this,
if Mechanism is correct, leads to a quantum reality. You seem to miss
step 7 (to be short).

in which case the derivation of QM from consciousness would be false
-- the consciousness in question exists in an entirely non-quantum
world. So the idea that consciousness implies QM is false.
