Yes, why insisting on this, especially when we know that if we believe in prime 
numbers, or things like that, we have to believe in the existence of all 
computations, and not just the existence of them, but also in their highly 
redundant structure which does not depend on the choice of the universal base.

It is up to believer in God or Matter to explain what they mean by that, and 
how that could play a role in pur consciousness, but of course, if they succeed 
doing that, such a matter or god will play a role, and will throw doubt about 
the “yes doctor qua computatio”. 
It will be like the Catholic guy who say yes to the doctor, but only if the 
artificial brain is first blessed with Holy Water by some priest. That is no 
more computationalism: that is computationalism + magical thinking.
