If the measure along your lifeline decreases according to the Born rule, as Russell suggests, then one is effectively saying that after quantum duplication, the soul chooses one copy at random, and that is the one that is "you". This is effectively a collapse model -- all duplicates except the one randomly chosen cease to be you. I am certainly not advocating such a position, I was just pointing out that that is what RSSA amounts to.
