JOB DESCRIPTION Position: EUC Developer: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Management or equivalent. • Requires 4 years work experience with increasing responsibility in a technical discipline within the Finance, Banking or Mutual Fund industries. The End User Computing (EUC) Developer position leads the programming effort on the majority of projects. On occasion, the Senior Developer may take direction from the EUC Senior Developer on the most complicated of projects. This position mentors junior staff regarding technical issues, but has no direct reports. Mentoring Junior Staff 1. Assist junior staff with technical issues that arise. 2. Assist Project Lead with technical training of junior staff 3. Project Administration 4. Manage a variety of EUC projects, either working alone or with a junior staff member assigned. 5. Meet with clients to determine the best course of action to complete a project’s SRA. 6. Provide project guidance to junior staff assigned to the project. Coding 1. Develop new and modify existing Visual Basic code, using VBA with .NET extensions, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and SharePoint. 2. Develop client/server applications using ADO and ODBC, linking Microsoft Access with database servers using SQL Server or Oracle. Create User Reports 1.
