if you used a program such as office your mail files
should be located under a *.pst file, which is the
data folders for the outlook program, if you can
retrieve that you will most likely succeed in getting
all your mail, that is to say you dont hit a bug in
outlook 2000 where MS decided it was a good idea to
limit the size of the pst to 2 gigs, if its lareger
than 2 gigs it can be deficult to retrieve all the
info, but if you do get the pst file it can be
reimported into a new outlook install.
