Can do it for you.
My name is Valentine, I'm IT manager. Most of the times that kind of problem
can be solved when you just change a battery on your motherboard - go to
closest battery kiosk and by CR2032 cost 20-70 rubles and open your desktop
box, use your mind how to change it - try now to turn on your computer - first
time it may scream CMOS error but after you press F1 button everything will be
ok. It's the last free advice.
If doesn't help can be ENYTHING - processor. motherboard, BIOS, whatever.
Than you need a specialist.
Contact me on this e-mail, I'll see what I can do.
  With best regards, Valentine.

Hi, Expatniki. I have an old desktop that died -- it won't turn on,
so I suspect the processor is dead (?). I need to extract all my files,
including email files (which are apparently hard to locate on the hard drive).
I have a couple of computer guys, but I am a bit nervous about their level of
expertise. Can anyone provide recommendations?
  Many thanks
