first my disclaimer, I have no connection to Mandrake other than by their
products and am a member of the MandrakeClub
I very seriously doubt you would EVER find an "open-source" (GNU) software
company doing anything so dumb, since there is no "secret" code. All GNU
programs can be examined by anyone caring to.

kinda like "I did not accuse you of stealing my wallet, I just grabbed you to
ask you if you had stolen my wallet"
you can apologize to Mandrake in an open letter here, and we will understand
that you are new to GNU-Linux, and have not had the joy of knowing (and
owning, instead of leasing) what software you are using.

consider that since we can not see your face to know the expression when you
type, just as my statements might seem kinda terse, so might have your
statement seem kinda accusetory.
<START ET's story time>
I Used to Live in Miami Fla, and when I was at a customer's and set down my
soda so that it was out of the way, and when I went to look for it, I would
accuse any one around of having "stolen my soda" with a goofy smile, and
no-one was ever offended, of course no one wanted to steal my half finished
soda.
When I moved to a small town in North Carolina, and did the same thing, people
were offended that anyone would accuse them of talking anything that they did
not own.
all just perceptions
