I bought a IR model a few months back that is rated at 1000lbs of "nut busting" torque. I use it for taking rusty mud flaps bolts off and rusty front bumpers off of Mack trash trucks. It is an awesome 1/2" impact wrench. I paid around $260 for it on the internet. I especially like it because it actually has 5 power settings. I set it on low and work my way up , as needed. But most of the time the lowest setting works. Bill Schmidt 88 Red Devil Kawi
>>> "Joe Palmer" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 07/25/06 10:29 PM >>> I'm looking for recommendations on a good impact wrench with enough torque to pop my primary off after a full season and adjustable to also be used for my SVT Mustang wheel lugs. What peak torque should I be shopping for? Any brands I should stay away from? I'll probably only use it once or twice a year on my NovaKar and about the same amount on my Mustang. I have a Maxxus compressor with plenty of CFM. Thanks.
