Steer clear of anything from Harbor Freight. Several years ago Neal Spieler
was using a Harbor Freight electric Impact wrench to snug the lug nuts on
his F500.....as he was using it the gear case housing shattered throwing
bits and pieces all over the area. Harbor Freight may have price, but they
don't have quality for any price.

Subject: [F500] Impact Wrenches

I'm looking for recommendations on a good impact wrench with enough torque
to pop my primary off after a full season and adjustable to also be used for
my SVT Mustang wheel lugs. What peak torque should I be shopping for? Any
brands I should stay away from? I'll probably only use it once or twice a
year on my NovaKar and about the same amount on my Mustang. I have a Maxxus
compressor with plenty of CFM.

Thanks.

Shiny Side Up,
