I pulled the cylinders and heads off the car today and found one cylinder
that looks quite good; the other looks like a lunar surface. The bad
cylinder is one I had just replaced, of course, and it was making good
compression. I don't know what the compression is, now but it doesn't look
good. The cylinder is scored. The piston was hard to get out of the
cylinder; I had to use a hammer to persuade it. There are bits of metal in
the exhaust pipe. Looks like aluminum.
