John, does it look like something small was bouncing around and hammered
little dents in the top of the piston and head?
The top of the piston looked like little dents all over. The edges were
crusty as heck; like metal had been thoroughly burnt there and barely
reconsitituted after cooling. Ugly stuff.
The head didn't look too bad. No obvious signs of heavy damage.
