I have dollar proof that Chuck is right. I purchased a cell in '03 from
Fuel Safe for ~$1K. Ship them your old one after you dry it out and remove
the foam. I had previously purchased a cell in '99 (before the
aforementioned sale of the company) for ~$650. ATL will be "competitively
priced."

Within the past 2/3 years Fuel Safe has changed ownership. The new
ownership has roughly doubled prices from what the prior ownership was
charging. This applies to virtually the entire Fuel Safe product line.
Hopefully, Gene can find a serviceable used cell, if not expect to pay
close to $1K for a new one, maybe a little less if he goes to Bend to
pick it up.

Jen Berry here: When Steve's cell went out, we used the cell from my
MK-5 that had never been run to ship to Fuel Safe in Bend, Oregon. They
used the cell to make a mold, and it DID only cost $600. Then they
shipped both cells back to us.
I'm sure if you call them they may still have the dimensions on file.
They made Steve's cell in 2001.
If they don't, then we'll see if we still have the an old cell here that
we can lend you to ship to them to make a mold.
Don't EVER give up hope, Gene. It's AMAZING what happens when you start
asking for help. It comes from the strangest of places.....
