Edg - I know your view on this. Basically you see anti global
warming as the trojan horse to stop the real pollution.

Cos, as I'm sure you are aware, CO2 is not a nasty, toxic
pollutant!

But there is a danger to that view - "cry wolf". If, as *may* happen (I 
am agnostic actually), global warming gets thoroughly discredited, 
then the free ride you had been hoping for for the real pollutants will 
be down the plug hole. That would be terrible.
