Maybe so, but I've seen no credible evidence that the 
Marshy ever promised anyone 5-8 years to 'freedom'. 

Can you post anything that would validate your claim? 
A book quote, or some printed literature? 

I think not.

In fact, the Marshy probably at no time ever made any 
promises to anyone about their state of consciousness, 
because it would be nonsensical. At the time he 
supposedly made this promise, at least a hundred people 
had already been practicing TM for over ten years. 

Go figure.
